Somewhere in Between

I’m not the sunrise, not the night,

just the quiet glow of fading light.

Not the storm, not the sky—

just the wind that moves between the lines.

I don’t run, but I don’t stay still,

just drift where the moment will.

Not lost, not found—

just somewhere in between for now.

I trace the edges, soft and worn,

of things I’ve loved and things I’ve torn.

Not holding on, not letting go—

just learning what I need to know.

Maybe one day I’ll plant my feet,

find a place that feels complete.

But until then, I’ll float, I’ll breathe,

somewhere in between, just me.
